Amur Minerals (LON:AMC) up 7.75%. The company said it is to accelerate its production plans after the issue of the "Detailed Exploration and Mine Production Licence" for the Kun-Manie nickel copper sulphide deposit.

FirstGroup (LON:FGP) up 4.86%. The company's shake-up of its UK bus operations meant higher annual profits it said as it announced the departure of its finance chief.

Best of the Best (LON:BOTB) up 12.6%. The company said turnover for the year to 30 April was £8.8mln, up from £7mln a year earlier, while pre-tax profits grew to a better than expected £810,000 from £450,000.

FALLERS

Dialight (LON:DIA) down 35%. The light emitting diode (LED) designer produced a profit warning today.“Slowdown in the rate of orders since April’s AGM statement in the Lighting segment in both the US and Europe that is likely to result in a shortfall in FY revenue” broker Northland Capital said.

DDD Group (LON:DDD) down 17.5%. What goes up must come down and after leading the risers yesterday, shares inevitably slipped back today.

Weir Group (LON:WEIR) down 2.8%. Chief executive Keith Cochrane said the second quarter “is proving to be very challenging” for the company.
