B HODL shares start trading on AQSE

B Hodl Plc shares today began trading on the Aquis Exchange in London, after raising £13.3 million in new equity.

The proceeds will be used primarily to acquire Bitcoin and to operate Lightning Nodes, a payment channel technology designed to allow faster and cheaper Bitcoin transactions.

The shares started trading on AQSE Growth Market, with the ticker symbol 'HODL'.

Freddie New, B HODL chief executive, described it as a landmark moment.

"We are proud to be the first listed British company dedicated from day one to Bitcoin accumulation and revenue generation," New said in a statement.

"The strong support we have received from our new investors, with the WRAP offer upsized and closed early due to demand, underlines the scale of interest in Bitcoin's long-term potential - both as an asset and as a means of payment."

He added: "We believe this strategy positions us at the heart of Bitcoin's next phase of growth and we are excited to be commencing this journey with all our stakeholders."

On AQSE, B HODL shares were priced at 17.5p on Monday, valuing the business at around £24.5 million.
