West Cobar Metals managing director Matt Szwedzicki talked with Proactive about the company’s current drilling program at the Mystique Gold Project in Western Australia. Szwedzicki explained that the program, which is designed to test multiple structures and targets, is expected to comprise around 70 to 80 drill holes over a three-week period.
“We’re hoping to have some interesting hits of gold, which will allow follow-on targeting, and we’ll keep the market updated as we go,” he said.
Szwedzicki highlighted that the company recently acquired the project and is now focused on exploring structures adjacent to areas where strong gold results have been reported. While Mystique remains the current focus, West Cobar also has other advanced assets in its portfolio. The Salazar Project in Western Australia hosts a declared resource containing rare earths, scandium, alumina, and titanium. Meanwhile, at the Bulla Park Project in New South Wales, West Cobar is advancing work on a rare copper-antimony deposit, which is one of the few such resources listed on the ASX.
According to Szwedzicki, investors can expect steady news flow in the coming weeks as drilling results are reported from Mystique and additional programs progress across Salazar and Bulla Park.
