Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF) CEO Evan Gappelberg talked with Proactive about the company’s acceleration of its entry into the digital ticketing market, now projected to launch in Q3.
Gappelberg emphasized the strategic timing, aligning with StubHub’s $9 billion IPO and a growing global market expected to hit $103 billion by 2030.
He explained that the new platform adds $0.99 per ticket plus 3% of the ticket price, shifting the company into a scalable, ticket-based revenue model.
“For the first time, our revenue is directly tied to the number of tickets sold,” said Gappelberg.
The initiative is supported by the company’s MapD client base, which already includes over 500 customers, about 25% of whom use ticketing solutions.
Gappelberg also revealed plans to integrate blockchain ticketing by Q4, aiming to eliminate fraud, counterfeiting, and scalping through secure, tokenized ticketing with identity verification.
He noted that blockchain enables recurring revenue through resale tracking, something traditional systems cannot capture.
Additional features include AI matchmaking for trade show attendees and the potential for VIP embedded options in tickets, offering broader functionality beyond entry.
The move reflects Nextech3D.ai’s broader push into scalable, high-margin technologies.
