Concurrent Technologies (AIM:CNC) told investors it has secured a contract worth $5.25 million, to provide design services to a major US-based defence prime contractor
The contract is effective immediately and will continue into 2026.
The agreement builds on Concurrent’s expertise in Intel-based high-performance computing, while incorporating customer-specific features. The customer described the product as “transformative” in aligning with the US Department of Defence’s push for open standards and agile solutions.
"This contract represents a fantastic step for Concurrent into delivering large scale design services, and enables us to strengthen the growth and capability development of our engineering team," said chief executive Miles Adcock.
"We have spent extensive time with this customer on collaboration and a major aspect to this project is dovetailing with their quality and manufacturing systems to enable them to produce the product in their own factory and integrate it into their wider enterprise."
