Pantheon Resources confirms stimulation plans at Dubhe-1

Pantheon Resources PLC (AIM:PANR, OTCQX:PTHRF) told investors that hydraulic fracture stimulation at the Dubhe-1 well is expected to begin in the week commencing 29 September.

The well, located within the Ahpun project on Alaska's North Slope, has completed drilling and casing operations and is now ready for the final stages of completion.

The Dubhe-1 horizontal lateral was drilled to a measured depth of 15,800 feet, with around 5,200 feet completed within the SMD-B target zone.

Pantheon confirmed that production casing has been successfully installed and cemented, and, once underway, the fracture stimulation is estimated to take two weeks.

"The team has done an excellent job drilling, and most recently, setting casing in this key well appraising our primary Ahpun reservoir (the SMD-B)," said Erich Krumanocker, chief development officer.

"We are very excited to be moving ahead with the completion and subsequent flow testing in the coming weeks. We have assembled a great team of suppliers with extensive experience and are looking forward to the results."
