St George Mining (ASX:SGQ)
St George Mining has reported a major new discovery of high-grade rare earths and niobium at its 100%-owned Araxá Project in Brazil. Initial assays from the previously unexplored East Araxá area returned broad, near-surface intersections, including 48 metres at more than 5% total rare earth oxides with grades reaching nearly 17%. With over 8,000 metres of drilling still ahead, the company expects a steady stream of exploration results through the remainder of 2025.
Yandal Resources (ASX:YRL)
Yandal Resources has completed reverse circulation drilling at its Arrakis Prospect and confirmed a 2.2-kilometre mineralised structure from its Caladan air-core program. Results included multiple gold intercepts such as 11 metres at 2.1 grams per tonne and 12 metres at 1.1 grams per tonne. The company has also finalised the first of two heritage surveys, paving the way for further detailed drilling. Yandal maintains a strong cash position and anticipates consistent news flow from Arrakis, Caladan and other projects in the months ahead.
