Hershey Company (NYSE:HSY, ETR:HSY) shares gained more than 3% to about $192 in midday trading on Tuesday after Goldman Sachs upgraded its rating on the chocolate maker’s stock to ‘Buy’ from ‘Sell.’
The investment bank also lifted its target price on Hershey to $222 per share from $170, citing an improved outlook and the risks now being fully priced into the stock.
Aptevo Therapeutics (NASDAQ:APVO) saw its shares jump sharply Tuesday after the company reported encouraging clinical data from its Phase 1b/2 RAINIER trial evaluating mipletamig, a first-in-class CD123 x CD3 bispecific antibody, in patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who are unfit for intensive chemotherapy.
Aptevo said that Cohort 3 of the trial achieved a 100% remission rate, with 40% of patients reaching minimal residual disease (MRD)-negative status, a key indicator linked to improved long-term outcomes.
Rocket Lab USA Inc (NASDAQ:RKLB) shares fell 10% to about $48 in midday trading on Tuesday after the provider of launch services and space systems revealed in a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing that it has entered into a new at-the-market (ATM) equity offering arrangement under which it could raise up to $750 million by selling company shares from time to time.
The offering replaces a previous $500 million agreement, under which $396.6 million of company shares were already sold.
Webtoon Entertainment Inc (Nasdaq: WBTN) shares surged 29% to about $19 in late-morning trading on Tuesday as the two companies announced that Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS, ETR:WDP) intends to acquire a 2% equity stake in the online comics company as well as jointly develop an all-new digital comics platform.
The new subscription-based platform is expected to host Disney’s extensive collection of titles from properties such as Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, Disney and 20th Century Studios.
Dave & Buster's Entertainment (NASDAQ:PLAY) shares slid 15% to about $20 in early trading on Tuesday after the restaurant and arcade chain’s second quarter 2025 financial results fell short of Wall Street expectations.
Dave & Buster's adjusted earnings for the quarter of $0.40 per share was down from $1.12 a year ago, and below the analyst consensus estimate of $0.92.
Novo Nordisk (NYSE:NVO) shares gained on Tuesday after the company reported promising Phase 3 trial results for its experimental weight-loss drug Cagrilintide, presented at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes congress in Vienna.
The REDEFINE 1 trial showed that once-weekly injections of Cagrilintide led to an average 11.8% reduction in body weight over 68 weeks, compared with 2.3% in the placebo group.
Fiinu shares fell 13% for a second day as investors and market makers continued to react to Monday's fundraiser, which saw it bank £900,000.
Effectively, this has drawn a line under a sharp rally that had seen the stock advance 2,600% in the year to date.
