Beauty Tech confirms plan for London IPO includes retail fundraising

Beauty Tech Group has confirmed its plans for an initial public offer on London's main market in October with a fundraising among institutional and retail investors.

Holding company Glow Topco Ltd put out a statement on Monday to follow up on its announcement a week earlier that it was intending to list.

Existing shareholders will be selling some shares and new shares will be issued to enable the company to clear its debts and raise enough cash to continue growth plans.

Enough shares will be sold to enable the company to have a 25% free float, while directors and existing shareholders intend to agree on lock-up arrangements preventing them from selling shares for a certain period of time.

As well as a placing of shares with institutional investors, the company said it will make some shares available to small UK investors via the RetailBook platform, which operates a network of investment platforms, retail brokers and wealth managers, such as AJ Bell, Hargreaves Lansdown, Interactive Investor, Charles Stanley and Cannacord.
