Fiinu boosted as it raises extra funds at a premium price

Fiinu PLC (LSE:BANK) shares traded higher on Monday after the small-cap fintech raised £900,000 of new capital in response to additional market demand.

It comes after a prior £1.41 million placing earlier this month, which was priced at 15p per share.

Notably, today's raise was pitched at a premium to early September placing, with 4.5 million shares sold at 20p each.

Fiinu said the proceeds would support working capital.

In London, Fiinu shares climbed 1.4p or 9.8% changing hands at 15.65p, and in earlier trade reached as high as 18p.
