Critical Resources, Riversgold, West Wits Mining and Resolution Minerals all provided significant updates.
Critical Resources secured $1.80 million through a strategic placement at $0.008 per share with one-for-two attaching options. The funds will launch maiden drilling at the Amoco Project in New South Wales in October and at the Cap Burn Project in New Zealand in November.
Riversgold announced a farm-out agreement with Canada’s A.I.S. Resources covering its Saint John project in New Brunswick. A.I.S. can earn up to a 75% interest by funding exploration and development over four years, while Riversgold will hold a free-carried 25% stake through to a decision to mine.
West Wits Mining is raising $17.50 million to advance the Qala Shallows project in South Africa. The placement proceeds will support development costs, operating expenses and working capital, moving the project toward near-term gold production.
Resolution Minerals reported standout grades from surface sampling at Antimony Ridge. Results included 49.8% antimony, 1,420 grams per tonne silver and over three grams per tonne gold. Soil sampling has also outlined a larger mineralised footprint, with drill target refinement underway.
