Vodafone Group PLC (LSE:VOD) announced the signing of a multi-year partnership with UEFA and UC3 (UEFA Club Competitions Commercial) covering both women’s and men’s football.
The telecoms firm will be an official partner of UEFA Women’s Football through 2030 and a licensee of the UEFA Champions League for 2025–2027.
Vodafone will sponsor competitions including the UEFA Women’s Champions League and Women’s EURO 2029.
“We are excited to sponsor women’s football, which is one of the fastest growing sports globally," said Ahmed Essam, Vodafone CEO for European markets.
"As an official licensee of the men’s flagship club competition, Vodafone will help to further enhance the experience for fans.”
It will also launch the Champions Travel eSIM, offering fans global data roaming across 206 countries with options for match ticket giveaways.
