Trump Media seeks SEC approval of five ‘America First’ ETFs

Trump Media & Technology Group Corp (NASDAQ:DJT) has filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for approval of five new exchange-traded funds centered on “America First” principles.

The proposed funds, part of the “Truth Social Funds” collection, include the Truth Social American Icons ETF, the American Security & Defense ETF, the American Next Frontiers ETF, the American Energy Security ETF, and the American Red State REITs ETF.

The company said the ETFs are intended to be listed on NYSE Arca and could launch later in 2025, pending regulatory approval.

Yorkville America Equities will serve as the sponsor and registered investment advisor for the new ETFs.

In coordination with the 1792 Exchange, the funds will undergo a screening process to ensure they align with the Truth Social brand and the stated America First themes.

Trump Media has previously filed for cryptocurrency-focused ETFs aimed at providing investors exposure to Bitcoin and Ethereum through traditional brokerage accounts.

The introduction of these equity ETFs represents a broader diversification of Trump Media’s financial products, moving beyond its existing focus on media and fintech platforms.

The company said the funds are designed to appeal to investors interested in American heritage, security, innovation, energy, and real estate investments linked to specific political and cultural identities.

Shares of Trump Media were 0.5% higher at about $17 following the announcement.
