Critical Resources has expanded its footprint in New Zealand’s Otago goldfields, signing a binding deal to acquire 90 per cent of the Rock and Pillar prospecting permit application.
Nearly ten kilometres of the Cap Burn Fault are now in Critical Resources’ hands — directly next to its drill-ready Cap Burn Project and only a short hop from OceanaGold’s ten-million-ounce Macraes camp.
Critical Resources now holds interests in over 1,700 square kilometres across Otago and the West Coast, building a diversified gold–antimony portfolio alongside its lithium assets in Canada and base metals in New South Wales.
Field activities will begin once permit transfer and access approvals are complete, and drilling is planned soon after Ministerial consent expected in October.
