Green360 Technologies executive chairman Aaron Banks talked with Proactive about a major step forward in the company’s commercialisation roadmap — the successful production of its first low-carbon concrete noise panel wall through its joint venture with PERMAcast.
The product replaces 35% of traditional Portland cement with industrial byproducts, a move aimed at reducing emissions in large-scale civil infrastructure. Banks described the result as “a class one finish on the noise panel,” underscoring the quality of the initial commercial-scale production.
Following more than a year of testing and over 200 lab assessments, Green360 achieved a strength rating of 64 MPa after just 28 days — far surpassing the industry target of 40 MPa. Banks said this result means they can now “comfortably make this product at scale,” and hinted at broader applications beyond non-structural elements.
Government departments and major civil contractors have already shown interest, with site visits underway. Banks noted that third-party life cycle analysis and environmental product disclosures are the next critical steps. These will allow the product to be formally assessed for its carbon reduction impact and qualify it for potential investment from green funds and institutions.
