Quantum Base Holdings PLC (LSE:QUBE) shares jumped in Tuesday's trade after it expanded an agreement with its largest customer, a major international security printer, adding £250,000 of new revenue.
The deal, signed under a framework agreement, allows the customer to market and sell Quantum Base’s Q-ID technology. The expanded terms include new features and support for more devices, with the Q-ID now compatible with 170 smartphone models.
“I am delighted to announce the expansion of our contract with our largest customer - a significant commercial partnership for Quantum Base," said chief executive Tom Taylor.
"When we initially signed the agreement, it represented the first large-scale commercialisation of Q-ID technology. The decision to broaden the programme scope and advance our relationship at this relatively early stage serves as a strong indication of the real-world value that our product is delivering."
Taylor added: "We are trading in line with expectations for the year and still anticipate signing up a further four commercial contracts by April 2026, with positive steps already made towards the onboarding of several leads."
In London, Quantum Base shares were up 10.9% changing hands at 18.3p.
