Northcoders Group PLC (AIM:CODE) shares were on the front foot in Tuesday's trade after the tech training firm announced it had won a 12-month contract, valued at more than £500,000, through its consultancy brand Counter.
The deal is with a global business management software provider, and will start in the fourth quarter.
It said the contract is expected to provide a strong gross profit margin and underlined demand for Counter’s model in the corporate sector.
“We are delighted to secure this new Counter contract, a testament to the expertise and value our Counter team brings and our refreshing and innovative approach to technology consulting," said chief executive Chris Hill.
In London, Northcoders shares climbed just over 6% changing hands at 35.6p, valuing the micro-cap at just under £3 million.
