Pathkey.AI validates TrialKey predictions with strong alignment to clinical outcomes

Pathkey.AI Ltd (ASX:PKY) has reported early validation of its TrialKey™ platform, with observational data showing predictions aligned with 73% of real-world biotech trial outcomes.

Across 11 clinical programs analysed between March and July 2025, eight met at least one primary endpoint. A hypothetical trading model using prediction and results dates suggested average share price gains of 76%, with one case recording a 785% rise.

“These results show how powerful TrialKey can be when applied to the world’s most challenging and consequential trials. Clinical programs with strong TrialKey scores are consistently proving their merit in the market. Each validation strengthens confidence in TrialKey, expands our dataset and enhances our ability to deliver insights to trial sponsors, CROs, insurers and investors worldwide,” Pathkey.AI executive chairman Saurabh Jain said.

TrialKey performance and methodology

TrialKey applies artificial intelligence to estimate the probability of trial success by analysing more than 500,000 clinical studies and 1,500 variables per trial. The platform identifies probability signals rather than guarantees, flagging trials with above-average success potential.

The review covered 11 programs where TrialKey predictions exceeded competitor baselines. Of these, eight met endpoints, two failed and one was terminated. TrialKey’s predictive validity was illustrated by share price inflections, though Pathkey emphasised these examples are hypothetical, not trading outcomes.

Case studies: Abivax and others

The strongest validation came from Abivax (NASDAQ: ABVX). TrialKey assigned an 83% probability of success for its ulcerative colitis Phase 3 trial. During the observation window, Abivax’s share price rose about 785%.

Other examples included Mineralys Therapeutics (NASDAQ: MLYS), flagged at 71% probability with shares rising 55.8%, Trevi Therapeutics (NASDAQ: TRVI) with a 44% probability and 64.4% share uplift, and Nektar Therapeutics (NASDAQ: NKTR) at 61% probability with a 59.8% share increase.

Overall, these outcomes highlight how TrialKey’s percentile rankings correlated with market confidence around trial success.

Broader application of TrialKey insights

Pathkey is currently monitoring 20 additional companies across the NASDAQ and the ASX where probabilities of success sit above baseline. TrialKey’s insights are being applied in clinical trial optimisation, insurance and biotech investment strategies.

Through a partnership with L39 Capital, the company’s data informs the L39 AI Biotech Fund. The arrangement is non-exclusive, enabling Pathkey to deploy TrialKey across multiple life sciences markets.
