Cerillion rises 6% on £17.3m contract wins

Shares in Cerillion PLC (AIM:CER) climbed 6% on Monday after the billing and customer management software provider secured two follow-on deals worth £17.3 million with a major European client.

The agreements build on an £8 million services contract signed in May, bringing the total value of work with the customer to £25.3 million over five years.

The contracts cover software licences, maintenance, managed services and access to Cerillion’s Evergreen programme, which provides continuous product updates.

All three deals relate to the integration of the client’s newly acquired tier-1 customer base onto Cerillion’s business and operations support systems platform.

The company said the work was among its largest wins to date and backed existing market expectations.

Louis Hall, chief executive, said the contracts “deepen and broaden our relationship with this significant customer” and demonstrated the benefits of Cerillion’s product-centric model, which helps clients cut costs and improve efficiency.

The shares rose 88p to 1,498p.
