Orthocell Ltd CEO Paul Anderson talked with Proactive about the latest interim results from its Real World Remplir™ study, which showed an 81% success rate across various nerve repair procedures.
Anderson explained that the findings closely mirror previously published clinical trial data, reinforcing confidence in the robustness of the product. "We've treated patients in this scenario from the ages of 18 to 81," he noted, highlighting the diversity of the patient cohort in this post-market follow-up.
The data, collected from a range of nerve injuries—including complex shoulder, elbow, and neck cases—demonstrated consistent positive outcomes. Specific success was seen in injuries involving the ulnar, radial, and median nerves, indicating broad applicability.
When asked why Remplir™ is gaining recognition among surgeons, Anderson pointed to its unique handling qualities and scientific backing. “The scientific narrative that we've developed to support this product is second to none,” he said. The combination of performance, usability, and supporting data is helping position Remplir™ as a key product in the peripheral nerve repair space.
The results are expected to support Orthocell’s regulatory submissions in the UK and EU and strengthen marketing efforts for further US expansion.
