Tialis Essential IT PLC shares climbed in Friday morning's trade, adding nearly 10%, after it announced the start of a material contract with a principal UK Government department.
The five-year deal is valued at approximately £15 million, and the company noted that work began on 1 September.
It involves delivery of Lifecycle Services, Tech Bars, End User Support, and Field Engineering to support the department’s digital transformation, Tialis highlighted.
"Securing this significant contract with this UK Government Department is a strong endorsement of our capabilities and market position," said chief operating officer Niall O'Regan.
In London, Tialis shares were up 9.68% changing hands at 85p, valuing the company at just over £23 million.
