Santacruz Silver CEO discusses strong second quarter results - ICYMI

Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd (TSX-V:SCZ, OTC:SZSMF) executive chairman and CEO Arturo Préstamo talked with Proactive about the company’s second-quarter 2025 results, highlighting strong production, resilient performance, and ongoing strategic growth.

Préstamo noted the company produced over 3.5 million ounces of silver equivalent during the quarter, with steady revenues at $73 million, despite operational challenges at the Bolivar mine.

He emphasized the company’s ability to generate "very strong cash flows" and maintain "very good all-in sustaining cash costs."

The company remains well-positioned heading into the second half of the year, with Q3 expected to mirror Q2, and Q4 historically performing stronger due to year-end production boosts and bonuses in Bolivia.

"We expect strong [results for the] rest of the year here," said Préstamo, adding that current metal prices support a strong outlook.

On the strategic front, he shared that Santacruz maintains "a lot of cash on hand," allowing flexibility for further organic growth.

The company may announce additional activity later in the year.

He also explained the role of San Lucas, a trading operation that sources ore from high-grade regions in Bolivia.

This complements the company’s own production and helps manage risks and meet quarterly targets.
