Ecora Resources PLC (LSE:ECOR, TSX:ECOR, OTCQX:ECRAF) told investors that Vale Base Metals has completed a cobalt throughput test at the Voisey’s Bay mine in Canada.
The test achieved an average throughput rate of 93.7% over a 90-day period. Ecora noted that the test marks an important step in ensuring stable cobalt supply from the operation.
The company holds a 70% net interest in a cobalt stream from Voisey’s Bay - It is entitled to 22.82% of all cobalt production up to 7,600 tonnes, falling to 11.41% thereafter.
