Valereum PLC (AQSE:VLRM) told investors it has introduced a crypto and multi-currency payroll solution developed by its investee company Fideum.
The new platform enables businesses to pay employees in their selected allocation of fiat or cryptocurrency through a single-source transaction.
According to Valereum, the platform supports multi-jurisdictional compliance and may unlock cost savings for employers by improving treasury management and shortening working capital cycles.
“This initiative reinforces Valereum's strategy of leading digital asset innovation and infrastructure, and is an additional step in building a comprehensive, crypto-native ecosystem that supports mainstream adoption of blockchain technologies," said chief executive Gary Cottle.
The payroll solution is white-label ready, allowing other businesses to adopt it under their own branding. Valereum and Fideum intend to co-sell the product, leveraging Valereum’s El Salvador digital asset licence and Fideum’s regulatory framework to support international rollout.
“We're making global payroll simpler for employers and more empowering for employees,” said Fideum CEO Anastasija Plotnikova.
