The Small Cap Wrap: Cobalt Blue advances refinery and project milestones; Novo Resources launches maiden drilling

The S&P/ASX 200 rebounded on Thursday, adding 87.70 points or 1.00% to finish at 8,826.50 after touching a new 20-day low earlier in the session. Leading gains were Iress Limited, up 6.97%, and Deep Yellow Limited, which rose 6.35%. Despite the day’s recovery, the benchmark index remains down 1.71% over the past five sessions and is still trading 2.52% below its 52-week peak.

The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index also moved higher, closing at 3,589.00, a gain of 11.70 points or 0.33%. Over the past five days, however, the index has edged 0.18% lower.
