Uranium American Resources advances AI-driven exploration at Stateline Project

Uranium American Resources Inc. (OTC:UARI) has announced plans to deploy advanced geophysical and artificial intelligence (AI)-driven exploration techniques at its Stateline Project, located in Montrose County, Colorado, and San Juan County, Utah.

The program will focus on identifying high-grade uranium-vanadium mineralization beneath cover in the La Sal Uranium-Vanadium District.

The Stateline Project covers 2.75 square miles (7.12 km²) and hosts more than 19 historic mines with vanadium grades ranging from 1% to 3% V₂O₅, averaging 1.5%.

Reported past production includes grades of 3.01% V₂O₅ with 0.43% U₃O₈ from the Maud Mine and 2.56% V₂O₅ with 0.26% U₃O₈ from the Morning Glory Mine.

The deposits are hosted within the Salt Wash Member of the Morrison Formation, a setting consistent with roll-front uranium or paleochannel-style uranium-vanadium systems.

According to the company, mineralization is associated with channel sands deposited in a dendritic system where organic material created reducing environments that precipitated uranium from oxidized fluids.

Technical reviewers have indicated that the deposits are likely sourced from mafic volcanics, which could account for the elevated vanadium content.

The upcoming exploration program will include airborne electromagnetic surveys (AEM), passive seismic imaging, and artificial intelligence-based drainage modeling, designed to highlight prospective trap zones, meander bends, and organic-rich depositional sites.

"The challenge is targeting these channel-hosted reductant zones beneath clay-rich cover, but the upside is immense,” Uranium American CEO William Hunter said. “Combining AEM, seismic, and AI modelling gives us a real edge.”

The company said it is in discussions with contractors for geophysical work and preparing field activities that include core sampling, AEM forward modelling, and seismic inversion studies.

Uranium American Resources aims to advance Stateline as a high-grade vanadium-rich uranium project within the US critical minerals sector.

Shares of the company surged following the update, adding 25% before Wednesday’s opening bell.
