Narf Industries shares rise as US DoD opportunities open up

Narf Industries PLC (LSE:NARF) shares traded up in Wednesday's early deals, after it announced that its Ranger.ai cybersecurity platform has been approved as “Awardable” on the US Department of Defense’s Platform One (P1) Solutions Marketplace - which means it is now readily accessible to buyers within the department.

Ranger.ai is designed to identify risks in open-source software before they escalate, with initial deployment focused on government clients, Narf highlighted.

Future plans include expansion to regulated industries such as defence, finance, and healthcare.

“Ranger.ai being recognized as awardable on the DoD's P1 Solutions Marketplace is a significant step forward for Narf. It not only validates the strength and scalability of our technology but also accelerates our ability to deliver solutions into the heart of U.S. defense operations," said chief executive Steve Bassi.

In London, Narf shares were up 18% changing hands at 0.62p, valuing the small-cap at just under £10 million.
