Oriole Resources eyes maiden resource estimate as Phase 1 drilling completes at Mbe

Oriole Resources PLC (AIM:ORR) told investors it has completed Phase 1 drilling at the Mbe gold project in Cameroon, with the remaining results from the last four drill holes due later this month.

The drill programme covered 6,828 metres, across 24 holes, at the MB01-S target. The data is expected to feed the project's maiden JORC mineral resource estimate, expected in the fourth quarter.

"Completion of the Phase 1 maiden drilling programme is an important milestone, and one which has been achieved by our dedicated field team working hard through the Cameroon wet season," said chief executive Martin Rosser.

"Now we are eagerly looking forward to the independent consultant's maiden JORC mineral resource estimate in Q4-2025 and will announce the results for the remaining holes ahead of that".

Highlight drill results, from the holes available to date, included 6.15 metres at 19.67 grams per tonne gold and 3.00 metres at 17.66 grams per tonne gold.

One planned hole could not be drilled due to weather, but this is not expected to significantly affect the resource estimate.
