Chill Brands Group PLC (LSE:CHLL, OTCQB:CHBRF) shares surged 19% on Monday after the company announced its largest distribution deal to date, becoming the primary UK partner for RELX International, one of the world’s biggest vaping groups.
The agreement will see Chill Brands’ Chill Connect division roll out RELX’s MaxGo reusable pod system devices across independent convenience stores, backed by a dedicated sales team.
Chief executive Callum Sommerton said the partnership was expected to deliver a “material increase in revenues” while meeting consumer demand for higher-quality vaping products.
RELX, headquartered in China, operates in more than 40 countries and has already shown strong demand in UK trials. Chill Brands will finance the rollout through an existing inventory facility, with the first shipments due to arrive later this month.
The company said the tie-up combines RELX’s global scale with Chill Connect’s specialist route-to-market network, positioning the group to expand its share of the UK vaping market.
The shares rose 0.4p to 2.5p.
