Astrid Intelligence, the company formerly known as Cel AI, has joined the Access segment of the Aquis Growth Market today following a strategic pivot into artificial intelligence.
Its shares, now trading under the ticker ASTR, began dealing at 8 am with just over 5.7 billion in issue. The name change to Astrid Intelligence reflects its new focus on building autonomous AI systems that provide personalised wellness and lifestyle recommendations.
The London-based company runs its own subnet on the Bittensor decentralised AI network, an open-source platform where participants share computing power and models in return for token rewards. Alongside this, Astrid holds a portfolio of digital assets as part of its treasury strategy, a practice increasingly adopted by smaller listed groups to support capital resilience.
Astrid was previously a biosynthetic CBD and CBG skincare business and listed on the London Stock Exchange’s main market in 2021. The directors reviewed its strategy in 2024, winding down subsidiaries and shifting towards digital assets and AI.
