Chill Brands strikes UK vape deal with RELX

Chill Brands Group PLC (LSE:CHLL, OTCQB:CHBRF) has signed its biggest distribution agreement to date, becoming the primary UK partner for RELX International, one of the world’s leading vaping companies.

The London-listed distributor said it would roll out RELX’s “MaxGo” pod system devices across independent convenience stores, supported by a dedicated sales team within its Chill Connect division.

"This agreement is expected to deliver a material increase in revenues for Chill Brands as we expand RELX's market share in the UK through our dedicated sales team and specialist route-to-market capabilities," said CEO Callum Sommerton.

"Together, we are focused on driving sustainable growth while responding to consumer demand for high-quality reusable vaping products."

RELX, based in China, is one of the largest names in the industry, with products sold in more than 40 countries. Chill Brands said recent sales trials showed “exceptional potential” for the partnership in the UK market.

Chill Brands will finance the distribution through an existing inventory facility set up last year. The first stock is due to arrive in Britain later this month.

The company’s board said the tie-up combined RELX’s “global expertise” with Chill Connect’s distribution network, positioning the business to capture a bigger share of the UK vaping sector.
