Nextech3D.ai’s ARway reports first ever profit on revenue surge

Nextech3D.AI (CSE:NTAR, OTCQX:NEXCF) announced that ARway achieved profitability for the first time in its history, supported by an 83% year-over-year increase in revenue for the fiscal first quarter 2026.

For the three months ended June 30, 2025, revenue rose to about $272,000, up from about $149,000 in the same period last year, reflecting contributions from the Map D acquisition earlier in 2025.

Gross profit grew to approximately $259,000, representing a 74% increase.

Operating expenses declined to about $229,000, compared to about $547,000 in Q1 2025, resulting in net income of about $30,000 versus a loss of $399,000 a year earlier.

Earnings per share were breakeven at $0.00, compared with a loss of $0.01 in the prior year.

The company attributed the performance to the successful integration of Map D, a SaaS event management and ticketing platform, alongside strong demand for ARway’s augmented reality navigation technology.

Operational highlights included enhancements to ARway’s no-code platform to improve navigation accuracy and user experience, as well as expanded adoption of its AR navigation and event management solutions among enterprise and institutional clients.

The company also highlighted cross-selling opportunities through bundled offerings that combine event navigation, interactive floor plans, ticketing, and spatial computing services.

"Our first profitable quarter is a turning point for ARway. The successful integration of Map D not only drove immediate revenue gains but also positions us for sustainable growth with a diversified product offering," ARway CEO Evan Gappelberg said in a statement.

"This acquisition demonstrates our ability to scale intelligently while continuing to innovate in spatial computing and AR navigation. With expanding partnerships and enterprise adoption, we are on track to unlock significant long-term value for our shareholders."

Earlier this month, Nextech3D.ai announced plans to acquire 100% of ARway, building on its existing 40% ownership stake.
