Imugene Ltd (ASX:IMU, OTC:IUGNF) has completed its Share Purchase Plan (SPP), first announced on July 16, 2025, which closed on August 25, 2025.

The SPP, offered at an issue price of A$0.33 per share, raised a total of A$2.42 million through the issue of 7,335,608 fully paid ordinary shares. The offer followed Imugene’s earlier institutional placement on July 16, 2025, which raised A$22.5 million at the same price.

Shareholder approval for the issue of new shares, along with attaching options and piggyback options, was received at the company’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on August 20, 2025. The new shares and attaching options will be issued on September 1 2025.

Imugene’s CEO and managing director Leslie Chong said: “We thank those investors who participated in the share purchase plan for their continued support of the company.”

In line with the Subscription Agreement with CVI Investments, Inc. dated December 23, 2024, the exercise price for warrants issued under the Warrant Deed Poll of the same date has been set at A$0.33.

Funding the development of the azer-cel program

The proceeds from this capital raising will primarily fund the development of the azer-cel program, which targets blood cancers through a cutting-edge cell therapy platform. Imugene plans to advance this program towards a pivotal Phase 2 clinical trial, following promising efficacy data released on July 14.
