Webull Securities (Australia) has launched cryptocurrency trading for local users, giving investors access to up to 240 digital assets through its low-cost platform.
The move positions Webull among the cheaper options for cryptocurrency trading in Australia, with spreads set at 30 basis points. It also marks the third market globally where Webull has rolled out crypto trading, with further international expansions expected later this year.
The launch is supported by Coinbase Prime, which provides the platform’s trading infrastructure, custody solutions, financing options, and real-time market data.
Rob Talevski, chief executive of Webull Australia, said the addition of digital assets was designed to broaden the investment options available to users. “The addition of cryptocurrencies and digital tokens to the Webull platform represents the next phase of our ongoing mission to provide Australian investors with the freedom to trade what they want, when they want,” he said.
Investors can trade cryptocurrencies through individual, self-managed super funds (SMSFs), trust or company accounts, with Webull’s charting tools — including more than 40 technical indicators — available to support trading decisions. Round-the-clock customer support is also offered.
The new feature is available via the Webull app.
