Terra Metals Ltd (ASX:TM1, OTC:PNGZF) has raised $15 million through an institutional placement to fast-track exploration and development at its flagship Dante Project in Western Australia, a district-scale discovery already flagged as globally significant for critical and precious metals.
The company received strong backing from new and existing institutional investors, with the placement anchored by Golden Energy and Resources Pte Ltd (GEAR), M Resources founder Matt Latimore, and Tribeca Investment Partners.
The funds will support extensional and resource-upgrade drilling, testing of broader exploration targets across the project, and general corporate purposes.
Strengthened balance sheet
The $0.07-per-share issue price represents a 10% discount to Terra’s 15-day volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of $0.0781. A total of about 214.3 million new shares will be issued in two tranches, with shareholder approval required for the second. Petra Capital acted as sole lead manager and bookrunner to the placement.
Chief executive and managing director Thomas Line said the placement provided the financial strength to accelerate momentum at Dante without capital constraints.
“This $15 million placement, cornerstoned by highly regarded resource investors, provides Terra Metals with the balance sheet strength to aggressively advance the Dante Project,” he said.
“The scale of the system we are uncovering continues to grow, and with these additional funds we can now expedite drilling, resource growth, and development activities without being constrained by capital,” Line added. “The follow-on investments from GEAR, Matt Latimore, and Tribeca underline the quality of the project and the confidence in our strategy to rapidly advance this globally significant and growing discovery.”
Building on major milestones
The raise follows Terra’s maiden mineral resource estimate earlier this month, which confirmed Dante as one of the world’s largest titanium-vanadium-copper-gold-platinum group metals (PGM) systems. The resource outlined a multi-commodity inventory with potential open-pit and underground development scenarios, drawing comparisons with tier-one polymetallic systems globally.

At the end of July, Terra also secured a $4 million placement to accelerate work at Dante, attracting backing from prominent investors, including the same cornerstone participants. The company’s ability to secure repeat institutional support underlines market conviction in Dante’s scale and upside.

Next steps
With its balance sheet strengthened, Terra plans to push ahead with drilling designed to expand resources and upgrade classifications while testing the broader mineralised corridor. Management has repeatedly highlighted Dante’s underexplored potential, with multiple large-scale, near-surface polymetallic deposits already confirmed along strike.
The company said it would send out a notice of meeting shortly for shareholder approval of the second tranche of shares, which includes Tribeca’s participation.
By consolidating funding, resource definition, and strategic investor support, Terra is positioning itself to advance Dante as a project of global critical minerals significance — with titanium, vanadium, copper, gold, and PGMs all in focus as demand for energy transition and industrial inputs grows.
