Standard Uranium Ltd (TSX-V:STND, OTCQB:STTDF) announced that it has generated multiple new high-priority uranium targets at its flagship Davidson River uranium project in northern Saskatchewan after completing ExoSphere Multiphysics surveys across three major conductor corridors.
The company said the results highlight gravity-low anomalies and structural features that overlap with electromagnetic conductors and basement faults, creating prospective zones for uranium mineralization.
The surveys, the first of their kind in the southwest Athabasca uranium district, integrated 3D Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT), Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) velocity models, and constrained ground gravity block models.
Standard Uranium said that the data provides new insights into subsurface geology and helps refine drill targeting along the Warrior, Bronco, and Thunderbird trends.
Distinct gravity-low anomalies identified in the surveys are interpreted as potential hydrothermal alteration zones, with several coinciding with machine learning-based SmartMatch targets generated by ALS GoldSpot that resemble signatures from the Arrow and Triple R deposits.
"We have a clear geoscientific recipe for discovery at Davidson River leveraging exploration techniques and success next door at the Arrow and Triple R uranium deposits,” Standard Uranium VP exploration Sean Hillacre said in a statement.
“The new datasets from our multiphysics surveys unlock invaluable targeting information at Davidson River with the addition of gravity and seismic data outlining potential areas of significant hydrothermal alteration, akin to the geophysical signatures of nearby high-grade deposits in the same geological domain.”
The company said it has secured drilling permits and signed Exploration Agreements with the Clearwater River Dene Nation for a diamond drill program scheduled to begin in early September 2025.
The four- to six-week program will be the first drilling campaign at Davidson River since 2022 and will test the newly defined targets.
“The technical team and I are very excited to get the drills into the ground to test these new targets after several years of integrative targeting efforts," Hillacre said.
