Titan Minerals has unveiled exciting new exploration results from its 100%-owned Dynasty Gold Project in Ecuador.
At the Cerro Verde prospect, the company has identified two new highly prospective areas — to the west and southwest of the current resource.
Highlights include 10.2 metres at 3.8 grams per tonne gold at the Kaliman Southwest Extension, and 8.6 metres at 5.8 grams per tonne gold and 116 grams per tonne silver at the Brecha-Comanche West Extension.
These discoveries point to shallow, near-term extensions of existing mineralisation, which Titan will test with a small drilling program aimed at bringing them into the next mineral resource estimate.
Titan’s CEO Melanie Leighton said: "We believe that there is substantial additional mineralisation yet to be delivered from our exploration and resource definition drilling, as we aim to grow the 3.1Moz gold resource at Dynasty".
Next up, three diamond rigs are advancing a 6,000-metre infill campaign at Cerro Verde, which already hosts nearly two-thirds of Dynasty’s 3.1-million-ounce gold resource.
