Small Cap Watch: Janus signs African deal, Titan extends Dynasty mineralisation

The S&P/ASX 200 gained 21.8 points (+0.25%) on Wednesday to finish at 8,918.0, though the Small Ordinaries index slid 0.71% to 3,465.0 as investors rotated into defensive names. Financials, consumer discretionary and real estate led the gains, while materials, IT and energy stocks weighed on the broader market.

Tryptamine targets precision psychiatry

Tryptamine Therapeutics Ltd (ASX:TYP, OTC:TYPTF) has signed an exclusive agreement with Imperial College London researchers to develop an EEG-based biomarker platform for its psilocin therapy TRP-8803. The program, starting next month, aims to improve precision psychiatry by predicting and optimising treatment outcomes.

Janus strikes African distribution deal

Janus Electric Holdings Ltd (ASX:JNS) has entered an MOU with Singapore’s EVUNI for the exclusive distribution of its electric drivetrain technology in Africa. The deal includes a proposed $5 million investment and a commitment to supply at least 250 conversion modules a year over five years.

Titan expands mineralisation at Dynasty

Titan Minerals Ltd (ASX:TTM, OTC:TTTNF) has confirmed two new areas of mineralisation at its Dynasty Gold Project in Ecuador, with trench results up to 10.2 metres at 3.8 g/t gold and 8.6 metres at 5.8 g/t gold. The company says the results highlight strong potential to grow the 3.1-million-ounce resource.

Resource Minerals acquires AuKing Mining's interest in Saudi JV

Resource Minerals International Ltd (ASX: RMI) has acquired AuKing Mining Ltd (ASX:AKN)’s interest in a Saudi Arabian joint venture after the Shaib Marqan exploration licence was granted. The 91.8-square-kilometre licence is prospective for gold and base metals, with high-grade results reported and further assays pending.
