Sundae Bar launches 'version 1.0' of AI agent marketplace with Letta

Sundae Bar Plc (AIM:SBAR) has launched the first operational version of its flagship AI agent marketplace platform.

The platform is designed to enable developers to list AI agents – sometimes called agentic AI – as well as templates and frameworks for sale to businesses and consumers, who can peruse the hub to choose which AI to deploy.

Letta, a specialist in 'stateful AI' agents, is the first developer to list an agent on the platform, with more expected to follow.

Chief executive Jill Kenney said 'Version 1.0' of the platform "marks our transition from development to operational marketplace".

The inclusion of Letta, an open-source framework for building stateful LLM applications that maintain persistent memory and actually learn during deployment, not just during training, was described as a strategic starting point.

"We chose Letta because of their robust framework for building persistent, stateful agents that can maintain context across interactions – exactly what businesses need for complex automation tasks," Kenney said.

Sundae Bar said its next focus is wallet connectivity, allowing monetisation for agent creators and closing the commercial loop on the marketplace.

"Our vision is to connect with multiple frameworks… not just be another walled garden, but the universal interface for the AI agent ecosystem,” said Kenney.
