RentGuarantor makes quiet AIM debut after Aquis exit

Shares in RentGuarantor Holdings PLC (AQSE:RGG) made a quiet start on their first day of AIM trading, following the company’s move from the Aquis Stock Exchange.

The rent guarantee provider acts on behalf of tenants who cannot provide a personal guarantor, offering landlords payment protection in the event of arrears.

Its services are available to a broad range of tenants, from students to professionals and benefit recipients, and are used by letting agents, councils, charities and universities across the UK.

With more than 5.4 million households privately renting, RentGuarantor sees rising demand for its platform, which processed a 72% revenue increase in 2024.

The company expects regulatory changes, including the Renters’ Rights Bill, to further boost growth prospects.

The stock was flat.
