Fortuna Metals, formerly Lanthanein Resources, set to trade under new name and ASX code from August 20

Fortuna Metals Limited (ASX: FUN), formerly Lanthanein Resources Ltd (ASX:LNR, OTC:FRNRF), has confirmed its name change following shareholder approval on August 1, 2025. The change has been registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

From the market open on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the company will commence trading under its new name and ASX ticker code ‘FUN’, replacing the previous code ‘LNR’.

Fortuna has also launched a new corporate website, providing details of its projects and investor information, available at https://fortunametals.limited/.

Following the consolidation of its issued capital, the company’s updated capital structure is as follows:

Soil sampling program at Lyons Project after historic data review

The company will start a targeted soil geochemical sampling program at the Hart Bore area of its Lyons Project (E09/2515) in Western Australia’s Gascoyne region, following a detailed review of historical exploration data.

The company’s assessment examined gold and base metals exploration undertaken in the 1980s and 1990s by major operators including BHP Minerals, Newmont Australia and Newcrest Mining. Historic work identified significant geochemical, magnetic and radiometric anomalies, supported by auger and rotary air blast drilling that returned anomalous gold, base metals and rare earth element results.

The planned program will focus on gold and base metals anomalism, with sampling along 1,000-metre line spacing and 200-metre intervals, totalling 200 samples.

Assays will be conducted by LabWest Minerals Analysis Pty Ltd using the UltraFine+ method, which analyses the <2-micrometre fraction for 53 elements. The technique is designed to enhance detection of subtle geochemical signals beneath shallow to moderate cover, improving signal-to-background ratios and sensitivity for metal concentrations.

Fortuna said the program will support refinement of exploration targets within the Lyons Project as part of its broader Gascoyne strategy.
