Oracle Corp (NYSE:ORCL, ETR:ORC) and Google Cloud have announced an expanded partnership that will make Google’s Gemini AI models available through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
The collaboration enables Oracle customers to integrate Gemini’s capabilities into enterprise applications, including finance, HR, supply chain, sales, service, and marketing.
The Gemini models support text, image, video, and audio processing, allowing applications such as financial analytics, supply chain forecasting, conversational HR assistants, workflow automation, coding support, and knowledge retrieval.
Customers can use existing Oracle cloud credits to access the models.
The agreement builds on prior multicloud cooperation between the two companies, which included low-latency, no-fee cross-cloud data transfers.
Oracle plans to make the full range of Gemini models available via OCI Generative AI service, including specialized industry models such as MedLM for healthcare. Integrations with Google’s Vertex AI will also bring Gemini capabilities into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
“Enterprises are using Gemini to power AI agents across a range of use cases,” Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian said in a statement.
“Oracle customers can now access these models from within their environments to deploy AI agents that support developers and streamline data integration.”
