Markets in a Minute: ASX200 dips as utilities and financials lead declines

The ASX200 closed down around .6 of a per cent - dropping down after setting a new 100-day high. Utilities and financials dragged the bourse - both finished around 2.5 per cent down - whilst materials and healthcare nudged around a per cent.

IN THE GREEN

Evolution Mining (ASX:EV1) was up after reporting a 99% increase in underlying net profit to a record of $958 million.

And Orthocell (ASX:OCC) shot up after confirming it's ramping up its US push in the $1.6 billion nerve repair market, with its Remplir™ device gaining traction through early surgeries, hospital approvals, and a growing distribution network.

IN THE RED

AGL Energy (ASX:AGL) had a tumble after the power giant posted a $98 million annual loss, weighed down by nearly $600 million in significant items and a 9% drop in underlying earnings.

And Bravura Solutions (ASX:BVS) was down as strong profit growth gave way to flat guidance for FY26, despite the company confirming it's doubled its earnings and lifted revenue by 3% last year.
