Arria NLG (LON:NLG), up 153.7%. The natural language generation technology company has moved closer to securing new funding, which is likely to be in the form of an issue of convertible loan stock.
Kuala (LON:KUL), up 71.1%. The investment company has unveiled Galloway as its business development consultant. Galloway has sUBScribed for 1.44mln Kuala shares at 5.88p a share, which is what has sent the shares 4p higher to 9.625p.
Metminco (LON:MNC), up 25.8%. The company has issued a statement saying it knows of no reason for the dramatic share price increase.
FALLERS
RapidCloud International (LON:RCI), down 17.8%. Results from the south-east Asia-focused web hosting company disappointed, with profit before tax virtually unchanged in 2014 from 2013.
Ferrex (LON:FRX), down 15.4%. The African iron ore company's interims saw narrower losses before tax of £659,000 compared to losses of £745,000 the year before. “We continue to engage to potential funders and product off-takers and would like to have this concluded shortly after the award of the mining permit,” the pre-revenue company said.
Ferrum Crescent (LON:FCR), down 12.3%. Another iron ore mine developer in the dog-house; Ferrum has granted Principle Monarchy Investments an extension to the deadline for its first funding payment of R2 million due under the terms of the memorandum of understanding. The first funding payment was scheduled to have been made by 1 June 2015.

Workspace Group (LON:WKP), up 5.4%. The office space provider saw profit before tax rise 43% in the year to March.
WH Smith (LON:SMWH), up 4.7%. The newspaper and magazines seller saw year-on-year like-for-like sales growth of 1% in the 13 weeks to the end of May.
Imagination Technologies Group (LON:IMG), up 4.0%. Bid speculation continues to drive the share price of the chip designer upwards, although the presence of some major customers on the share register could prove an obstacle to any takeover attempt.
FALLERS
Synergy Healthcare (LON:SYR), down 3.2%. Talking of obstacles to a takeover, the Federal Trade Commission's intervention into the proposed merger of Synergy and STERIS continues to remain a dampener on Synergy's share price, while yesterday's disappointing full-year results are not helping the share price either.
Morgan Advanced Materials (LON:MGAM), down 2.6%. UBS has abandoned its neutral position and turned bearish on the advanced materials company.
Spectris (LON:SXS), down 2.0%. UBS has abandoned its neutral position and turned bearish on this stock as well. The instrumentation and controls company is off 46p at 2,277p.

Morrisons (LON:MRW) was the biggest gainer on FTSE100, up 1.57% after Kantar figures showed sales grew for first time since 2013.
Ariana Resources (LON:AAU) raced up 40% as it said it had been granted a forestry permit for the Red Rabbit Gold Project in the West of Turkey. It means the company and local partner Proccea can now begin construction of the Kiziltepe mine..
Workspace (LON:WKP) gained 3.10% as its full year profit beat forecasts. Profit before tax at the office space provider rose 43% to £360mln.
FALLERS
Azonto Petroleum (LON:AZO) saw shares ease 19.96% as it revealed Glen Whiddon is re-joining the company, after stepping down in March 2012 as chairman and director, as a non-executive director.
Ferrum Crescent (LON:FCR) dropped over 16% as it said under a May announced financing package, it had granted Principle Monarchy Investments an extension to the deadline for its first funding payment of R2mln. The first funding payment was scheduled to have been made by June 1.
