The Smarter Web Company (AQSE:SWC) has added 295 Bitcoin to its holdings as part of its ongoing treasury strategy to accumulate the cryptocurrency over the long term.
The London-listed technology firm bought the Bitcoin at an average price of £89,000 each, spending just over £26 million.
This brings its total Bitcoin holdings to 2,395 coins, acquired at an average price of around £82,400 per Bitcoin, with a total spend of approximately £197 million.
The company has reported a remarkable year-to-date return of 55,069% on its Bitcoin treasury and a 76% return over the past 30 days.
It currently holds about £700,000 in cash ready for further Bitcoin purchases.
