The S&P/ASX 200 advanced on Tuesday, rising 36.00 points, or 0.41%, to close at 8,880.80 — its highest level in 100 days. Leading gains were Life360 Inc., up 7.80%, and Light & Wonder Inc., which climbed 6.01%. The benchmark has gained 1.26% over the past five sessions and now sits just 0.06% below its 52-week peak.

The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index edged down 1.70 points, or 0.049%, to 3,456.30, though it remains 2.09% higher over the past five days.
