Askari Metals advances Ethiopian acquisition
Askari Metals Ltd (ASX:AS2) has provided an update on legal due diligence for the acquisition of the Nejo Gold and Copper Project in central-western Ethiopia. Covering 1,174 square kilometres on the Arabian-Nubian Shield, the advanced-stage brownfields project offers large-scale gold and copper potential. The acquisition expands Askari’s African portfolio and secures a district-scale holding in a region hosting several globally significant deposits.
Imugene extends SPP closing date
Imugene Ltd (ASX:IMU, OTC:IUGNF) has extended the closing date for its $15 million share purchase plan (SPP) to 25 August 2025, allowing shareholders more time to respond. The SPP follows a $22.5 million placement completed in July.
Tryp secures R&D loan facility
Tryptamine Therapeutics Ltd (ASX:TYP, OTC:TYPTF) has entered into a secured R&D loan facility agreement with Rockford Equity Pty Ltd for up to $2.6 million, to be drawn in $500,000 tranches at 16% annual interest. Funds will support FY26 R&D activities, with repayment from future R&D Tax Incentives. The company held $3.03 million in cash at 30 June 2025, with an ~$800,000 rebate expected from FY24 activities.
Anteris Technologies posts quarterly update
Anteris Technologies Pty Ltd (ASX:AVR, NASDAQ:AVR) reported Q2 2025 highlights, including 130 patients implanted with its DurAVR® THV since clinical development began, and the first “double DurAVR®” valve-in-valve implant. Preparations continue for the global PARADIGM Trial, with 79 sites now qualified and co-chaired by Dr Michael J. Reardon and Professor Stephan Windecker.
