Astral Resources (ASX: AAR) has hit standout high-grade gold at its 100%-owned Feysville Gold Project, near Kalgoorlie, with assays peaking at 100.7 grams per tonne at the Kamperman deposit.
The results come from a 15-hole diamond drilling program at Kamperman, Rogan Josh and Think Big, aimed at gathering rock data for pit design in the recently completed Mandilla pre-feasibility study — but still revealing potential for resource growth.
At Kamperman, highlights included 4.7 metres at 30.6g/t, 2.1 metres at 32.8g/t, and the standout 0.6 metres at 100.7g/t gold.
Across the broader Feysville package, a 24-hole RC program was completed, with assays reported. At the Mandilla Project, a 19-hole program at Iris has assays pending, drilling at Hestia has returned results now under review, and a 99-hole in-fill campaign is underway at Theia.
Astral's MD Marc Ducler said: "Our campaign to unlock the potential of our broader regional land-holding is also advancing, with assay results received from the preliminary 24-hole regional RC program at Feysville and regional drilling now underway at Spargoville – after which we will return to Feysville later this year."
