There's been plenty to like on the small cap front today, including a maiden resources, drill launch, large scale discoveries and more.

The S&P/ASX 200 finished higher on Monday, rising 37.70 points, or 0.43%, to 8,844.80 — its highest level in 100 days. Leading gains were Pilbara Minerals Limited and Liontown Resources Limited, which jumped 19.69% and 18.34% respectively. Over the past five sessions, the benchmark index has climbed 2.11% and now sits just 0.08% below its 52-week peak.

The S&P/ASX Small Ordinaries Index [XSO] edged up 3.40 points, or 0.098%, to 3,458.00, extending its five-day advance to 126.50 points, or 3.80%. There's been plenty to like on the small cap front today, including a maiden resources, drill launch, large scale discoveries and more.
