Arizona Gold & Silver Inc (TSX-V:AZS, OTCQB:AZASF) CEO Mike Stark talked with Proactive about the company’s latest drilling results from the Philadelphia Project, revealing significant gold mineralisation at depth.
Stark shared that drill hole 155 produced “excellent results,” including 14.5 grams per ton over 1.52 metres and 4.24 grams per ton across 22 metres. A standout result showed 39 metres grading 2.4 grams per ton.
Stark noted these intercepts reflect a “very robust system that continues to deliver,” with each hole down dip showing increasing grade and continuity. “We believe we have that opportunity here and it's getting richer at depth,” he added.
Drilling continues with hole 156, which is located approximately 60 metres (or 180 to 200 feet) below the previous hole. Stark said the team is about 200 feet from the target depth and already seeing promising signs, though results remain pending.
The company is encouraged by comparisons to the historic Oatman district, which has a record of significant discoveries. Stark underscored the commitment to shareholder value, saying, “We wouldn't be drilling these massive long holes unless it wasn't worthwhile.”
